Sony Ericsson Satio

3 PhonesThe camera on the Sony Ericsson Satio is an amazing 12.1 megapixels; better than many digital cameras currently on the market
Our Sony Ericsson Satio Review
On the surface, the Sony Ericsson Satio has some great features that attract consumers and there are many people who take one look at this phone and its features and fall in love with it, although it doesn’t suit everybody.
The phone is very attractive looking although it is a bit big in the palm of your hand but with so many great features you may be able to look past this, especially since it does not feel at all heavy.
Those that like to text will find the fact that you can choose between an alphanumeric and a QWERTY keypad great since they can select their preference and go with what they find to be easier. The keys are spread well, also, which means that you are unlikely to have any issues with the size of your fingers or accidentally making incorrect selections whilst texting, which can become annoying over time. The Sony Ericsson Satio actually comes with a stylus but this doesn’t fit into the phone so many people choose not to take it places with them in fear of losing it, which is something that a lot of consumers find to be slightly annoying.
The camera on the Sony Ericsson Satio is an amazing 12.1 megapixels; better than many digital cameras currently on the market. This means that if you so desire you can have the photos that you have taken blown up and they will still be of magnificent quality, making this phone ideal for anybody that loves taking photos. There is a camera on the front of the camera which means that video calling is possible which is great for people who like this added feature.
The Sony Ericsson Satio is designed to be an entertainment phone and with the ability to watch TV series’ and podcasts it lives up to this pretty well. With a vivid screen and an amazing range of colours you can watch films and videos in high definition. The ability to download films is great in the eyes of movie-lovers and many people will think this to be a brilliant feature, although there will be some out there who will think that this bonus is simply just that, a bonus, and will not use it regularly enough to gain the benefit of it. Some people argue that the touch screen on this phone isn’t very responsive and that you have to be quite firm with it, but this is something that many users will get used to over time.
The Sony Ericsson Satio is a fantastic phone in concept although some people feel that it is not for them. If you are looking for a phone with an amazing camera or one which enables you to watch movies, however, you may think that this is absolutely perfect. The Sony Ericsson Satio is just one of those phones that users either love or hate so only by testing it out will you find how you feel about it, unfortunately.

Panji submitted on 1 November 2009The emotional buildup for this one has been quite high since Sony has been publicizing it for a while now. The design and features live up to the hype created. Can't go wrong with sony
DanitheMannie submitted on 28 October 2009I have to disagree with the review, as the resistive touchscreen is great to keep your mobile phone under control. A lot of capacitive touchscreens unlock and starting dialing numbers and opening applications while in your pocket.
