Our LG Viewty Review

There is surprisingly little information online about the LG U990i mobile phone. Perhaps that is because few people have heard about this model number. If you mention Viewty to people though, you might get a different reaction, because that is what this phone actually is.

So what does the U990i mobile phone offer you? Well the design is very minimalist and very attractive at that. There are few buttons here to fiddle about with, since the touch screen provides all you need to get going. You will see that this takes up the vast bulk of the front of the phone, with just three little buttons along the bottom. That gives you a full three inches of screen to play with – making the colours look even better than they would anyway.

And if you turn the LG U990i mobile phone on its side you’ve got a neat and easy to use camera boasting five megapixels to play around with. Take your photos and send them to your friends quickly and easily.

It might take a while to become more familiar with the touch screen abilities of this mobile phone if you have been used to a more traditional phone. But you won’t want to go back to the old style when you have a voice recorder, games and applications and plenty more besides to get stuck into. The LG U990i delivers on plenty of different counts, no matter what you usually use your mobile for.

And you’ll appreciate the comfortable feel and size of it too. It’s a little thicker than some mobile phones, but you’ll like the chunky feel and it still has the ability to fit neatly in your pocket without weighing you down. In short, if you want a phone that is so much more than just a phone, the LG U990i mobile phone might just serve all your purposes at once.

User Comments

The viewty's 3G connection is impressive as it helps me load pages quickly and supports most of the sites I use. But as with Alex B above the touchscreen is very tempremental.

The word and excel viewers are useful and use them quite a lot. Downside is the touch screen - can be a bit hit n miss.
