Our Samsung N130 Review

Samsung N130
The Samsung N130 is... okay, we’ll say it: An adorable little netbook. At a scant 10.1 inches, and just 1.25 kg, it’s like an adorable, cuddly little baby computer, and at the risk of sounding like old ladies fawning over newborn puppies, we’ll say that it really is so cute you’ll want to gobble it right up!
Something really cool about it, though: It’s powerful, too. It’s not just a cute little notebook, it’s something like Bam Bam Rubble, hiding a true reserve of strength under its cuddly surface. A gig of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, a three in one card reader, webcam, and an 802.11b/g/n WiFi modem. It puts some full sized laptops to shame, truth be told.

The screen is LED backlit, non-gloss, with a 1024 by 600 resolution. There are TV sets that can’t offer that.
All of this runs at a whopping seven point five hours, minimum, on the battery pack.
Depending on who you buy it from, prices may vary, but it’s usually well under four hundred, so it’s really priced to move. The rig is available in either black or white, so it’s stylish, to boot.
Bottom line: It’s an incredibly capable, incredibly portable, incredibly cheap rig. Not much more to say about it than that.

Samsung N130 from back
So if you’re looking for an awesome little netbook, you can’t go wrong with either of these. The question is more of which one you’re after. You could save a little money with the N130, and it’ll probably perform just as well, but you get a little more compatibility with the N140’s Bluetooth. Either way, this is one of the cheapest and best netbooks available, and if all you need is a cool, simple little netbook, then the N series might be perfect for you.
Both versions come with Windows 7, both have real keypads, with the clicking and everything, both have crystal clear picture, decent sound, great battery life, a nice, sturdy build, and both cost less than you could make in a week on minimum wage. What more is there to say?
