Three

In your search for a mobile phone network you may have come across the Three network. With it being a fairly new competitor on the market, many people do not fully understand what it is that the network actually offers. So just what can you expect from Three?

Why Three is Worth Thinking About

The world of mobile phones has changed dramatically since the first ever phone was introduced into the UK. These days it is all about the latest technology and the media features that the networks produce. People want to be able to surf the Internet, listen to music and watch television on their mobiles. With the Three network you can do all of this and more as it is one of the leading competitors in 3G technology. In fact, it has more 3G mobile phones than all of the main leading competitors put together.

Providing services to both individuals and business users, Three has put together a number of flexible packages to suit everyone’s needs. No matter who you are however, the main objectives of the network are always the same; to provide the best services in media, information and entertainment. They aim to give you the best experience possible by allowing you to:

  • Use mobile blogging
  • Instant message your friends and family
  • Watch television on your mobile
  • Experience wireless web access
  • Receive the latest information straight to your mobile

All of the above services come in extremely handy for Three customers and it is the main reason why the network is rapidly gaining in popularity. One of the latest benefits introduced on the network is “SeeMeTv” where Three customers can access videos posted by other Three customers.

Another handy feature that was introduced by Three was the X-Series in 2006. This allowed customers to make calls from their mobile phones using Skype. Obviously this was an extremely popular introduction as it allows you to make calls for free from your phone. Then more recently in the beginning of 2007, customers were able to take advantage of the “Three Like Home” feature”. This was designed to allow customers to use any Three -branded network without any additional charges.

Overall if you do fancy changing your network and you want something that will offer you the latest in mobile technology then the Three network is definitely worth considering.
