Our Three MiFi Review

If you’re looking for broadband to be available wherever you go, the 3 Mifi is the way to get this. This small device is compatible with anything Wi-Fi enabled which means that you no longer have to search around for a Wi-Fi hotspot and can log on wherever you so desire, as long as it’s within reception for 3G.

The device itself is very small and compact; smaller than the size of your mobile phone most likely, and is also very light. This means that it is easy to carry around and shouldn’t be too much of a burden since you can simply slip it in your pocket. If you’re taking out more than one thing that you want to use Wi-Fi for, such as your mobile phone, iPod Touch or laptop then you will happy to find that you can use the Mifi device with multiple devices. Don’t worry that other people will be mooching off of your connection, however, since you will be given an 8-digit network key that you will have to enter the first time you use your device with the Mifi.

The Mifi is chargeable which some people do not like the idea of, namely people who will be using it for internet access on their laptops since they can get a dongle that does not need charging. However, for using mobile phones or the iPod Touch the Mifi is still a brilliant choice. If your Mifi is out of battery you can use a Micro USB cable in order to plug it into a laptop, which is great unless you’re intending on using it for other devises.

If reception is good then the Mifi will allow for super fast page loading and streaming, which is fantastic. The great thing about the Mifi is the fact that 3G reception can be found all over meaning that if you live in the middle of nowhere you may actually be able to use the Mifi as your sole internet connection and can use it for your mobile phone or other devices as well, meaning that you have added bonuses to a normal connection.

With contract and pay as you go available on the Mifi, similar to using a mobile phone, you can choose which package is best for you. With so many pluses to having a Mifi it is likely to be one of those devices that everybody seems to have in no time at all. Although some people have issues with reception, as long as you find out whether 3G is available where you intend to use your devices, you should be fine and will find this device highly useful and innovative.
